The shackle (bélière) on certain models.
The shackle (or bélière) is a small, sometimes intriguing "extra" with a very specific purpose. It is not intended to be frequently maneuvered, as friction against the handle may permanently damage the finish.

Each blade is engraved with its famous arabesques and is available in XC75 carbon steel or 14C28N stainless steel.
